Summary: What we wouldn't give to see the glorious return of William Castle-style gimmicks for b-movies. Those days are long gone, but live on in the hearts of cult cinema fans. But alas, one has to wonder when it's all taken way too far...
History: Long ago at the Dreamland Theater, unhinged filmmaker Lanyard Gates attempted to actually murder someone for the final scene of his film, "Possessor". One scuffle later, and the whole theater blew up. But it didn't just kill Gates. It left young Toby D'Amato horrifically disfigured and motherless. Believing that his torment was due to Gates not realizing his vision, Toby has now hijacked an upcoming b-movie gimmick-based film festival to do it right, taking lives and the identities of said lives while he's at it.
Notable Kills: Has a giant mosquito prop ram its proboscis through someone.
Final Fate: Just as Toby is about to finally finish Possessor as it was originally meant to in front of an excited crowd, a savior causes the mosquito prop to come and shove its proboscis through his chest while electrocuting him. To the crowd, it's all part of the show, and the festival remains a success.
Powers/Abilities: Can mimic anyone's voice, and makes masks out of the faces of his victims.
Weakness: Anything conventional.
Scariness Factor: 4-Toby is an absolute madman, even when trying to explain things as they were. His insane attitude, combined with his horrific face and methods of killing, make him the real star of disaster-piece theater.
Trivia: -This film was also known as "Skinner" and "Phantom of the Cinema".
-Lanyard Gates was somewhat based off Jose Mojica Marins, a Brazilian director who may have had a few screws loose, but was still a good guy at heart.
